    Gina Menichino

    Contemporary

    Biography:

    From Tampa and Miami to LA and now NYC, Gina Menichino (she/her) is a dancer, teacher and choreographer. Gina has danced on stages, TV episodes, and music videos, and has assisted choreographers internationally. She can be seen on NBC's World Of Dance season 3 competing with team Radiance, founded by Rudy Abreu, and music videos including Daya, Tiesto, and Blake McGrathas well as industrial performances for the Emmy's Governors Ball, Tony Robbins Benefit Show, and more. She is blessed to have assisted choreographers and mentors such as Tyce Diorio,Megan Lawson, and Cat Cogliandro. Gina has also worked alongside Nappy Tabs, Tessandra Chavez, and Derek Hough. As a student, Gina studies all aspects of modern artistry such as Horton, Limone, and Graham along with ballet training in Cecchetti, Vaganova, and Balanchine. Gina currently teaches around the nation with her contemporary fusion/improv dance elements. She is devoted to reaching the heart of every human so they will move deeply and believe in themselves.

    Class Description:



    Gina’s contemporary fusion/improv teaching sessions offer a judgement free zone focusing to build and explore personal confidence. She incorporates sense memory as a tool for dancers to discover their genuine, emotional reaction to the music and moves to create an authentic performance quality and confidence that lights up a room. Her mission is to guide dancers through physical and mental training, to unlock the body's full spectrum of movement and expression.
